Happy Thanksgiving from your friends at Taproot Marketing Communications!

As I reflect on this last year I find so much to be thankful for.  Precious family, dear friends, and all of our incredible clients who I’m so honored and excited to work with.  This year has had its share of challenges and opportunities to expand both personally and professionally.  We’ve had to say ‘goodbye’ to two precious family members, celebrated some major business growth and changes, moved into a new office in historic downtown Franklin, and are filled with hope and expectancy for what the soon to come New Year brings.  I think this quote from Henri J. M. Nouwen states it well:

“Gratitude… goes beyond the “mine” and “thine” and claims the truth that all of life is a pure gift. In the past I always thought of gratitude as a spontaneous response to the awareness of gifts received, but now I realize that gratitude can also be lived as a discipline. The discipline of gratitude is the explicit effort to acknowledge that all I am and have is given to me as a gift of love, a gift to be celebrated with joy. “
